The Timbers provides a panoramic view of the tranquil Spring Valley. Horses grazing in the beautiful valley provide the perfect setting for an eveningout on the 800 square foot deck or sitting by the Timbers’ fire pit roasting marshmallows visiting with family and friends. The Timbers can seat up to 225 people comfortably for ministry events, wedding receptions, family reunions or special dinner events. The Timbers has a sleeping area, with its own full bathroom and can sleep up to 30 people. The Timbers 2,000 square foot Great Room features open beams, grand fireplace, beautiful furnishings, large flat screen TV, audio/visual equipment, stage if needed, Ping Pong table and board/card games. This sound was always my motivation for the placement of a cabin on this beautiful property. This cabin sleeps 2(and only 2). The Studio Cabin is in a park like setting. Up against the GRDA East Spillway line for those who like to hike and explore the area. The cabin is all new with rustic siding on the outside, nice appointments for your comfort and fresh pine interior paneling. French doors coupled with 2 large windows allow for a full view to the GRDA land, and, spillway access. The cabin is wrapped on 2 sides with a covered deck, with fans for your comfort as well. Lake access is about 1/4 mile away. The jacuzzi is loaded with all the options, its own heater, lights, and of course the jets. If its not your pleasure to utilize the jacuzzi, then there is the shower that awaits you, as the tankless hot water heater will not run out of hot water. The Heat and Air Conditioner is a contemporary mini-split or sometimes called a "Ductless" system. All of its settings are by remote control at your bedside. This system operates with a whisper. Now we have installed a hot tub on the deck under the porch roof. It is a Solana TX by Hot Springs designed for 2. The spillway area at Disney is well known for its terrain as a trail jeep haven. The Little Blue always has some water making its way to Grand River. This is not a lake front nor lake view property, but certainly peaceful, private, and direct access to the rugged spillway grounds for your adventure, yet the lake is closeby. Although the kitchen does not have an oven, it does have a cook top, toaster, microwave, coffeemaker, refrigerator. If you bring 2 dogs there is an additional Fee. I will not accept more than 2 dogs. One needs to be sure and put the correct number of Adults and number of Kids. There is a $15 additional charge per person per night over 2 people, The view from the master bedroom as soon as you wake up is tough to beat. Main lake view, with a railed walkway to single slip covered dock, 2 PWC docks, and a swim deck. This 2 level cabin has a deck on each level to enjoy day or night. There is deck perimeter lighting on both levels. As well, there is also the dock, roof eve, and up lighting from nearby trees. While outside, enjoy your music from the outdoor speakers the stereo is set up with, or there is a CD player located near the 4 person Hot Tub. This is a place to enjoy even in cool weather, with the Hot Tub, and a fireplace on each level. However, the Master Bedroom Fireplace cannot be used. To do so is a big loss of entire deposit or charge of $250. Some guests rent a cabin with a fireplace in the winter time, arrive and are upset that a fireplace has a fireplace odor, as though in the winter time nobody is going to be using the fireplace except for them. Some travelers cannot operate a fireplace as well. So lower level fireplace is off limits. I just cant take the nonsense from the public regarding this fireplace any longer. The main level is fine to use, but if you do not have a fireplace at home, don't assume you know what you are doing, as you probably do not. More details on the amenities include fireplaces with blowers, Central Heat and Air. There are 4 TVs, and all with cable, 3 are with DVD capability, and the one in the 2nd bedroom with a VCR. The living room has a HDTV. (But not an LCD, nor a Plasma. Sorry) The Kids Bunkroom is a Bedroom/Laundry combo. It is setup with 2 of the well built multi-colored bunk beds, with the TV being wall mounted. The top or upper level consists of the Living Area, Kitchen, 2nd Bedroom, with closet and a Full Bathroom with an entry from the Living Area, and from the Bedroom. The lower level consists of the Master bedroom, walk-in closet, Master Bath with dual sinks, and the bunkroom, which is the Kids Bedroom/Laundry combo. We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood with paved roads. We are situated directly on the water with a large dock with swim ladder for all of our guests use. The covered slip is available for guests use upon request at time of reservation at no extra charge. The slip is offered depending on availability which you will know at the time of reservation. We also provide a pedal boat for guest use free of charge. For 2020 we have also added a Hobie pedal board and also a Hobie kayak for our guests use. This great cottage boasts a large, dogwood tree shaded deck with a patio table, and numerous chairs. The dogwood trees are truly stunning with their beautiful white flowers covering them in the spring time to the brilliant red and rust colors of the fall. Just this summer we realized thru the Oklahoma Forestry Department that our large Flowering Dogwood tree (see photo) in front of our deck is by far the largest Flowering Dogwood tree in Oklahoma. Upon further research, we discovered that it is also the largest in Kansas and Missouri. Laketime Cottage overlooks our small, quiet, deep water cove just off Raper Hollow on South Grand Lake. A large beach area with smooth river rock is available for swimming. The cottage has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and new for 2015 we have provided a stacked washer and dryer for our guest's use. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other has a full size bed and a separate twin size sofa bed. A trundle bed is in the sunroom with a full size mattress on top, and a full size mattress on the bottom. A cot with a mattress is provided for extra sleeping upon request. The kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, microwave, oven and cooktop. Pots, pans, coffee pot, dishes and utensils are all ready to use. A charcoal grill is also available alongside the cabin. February 2012 we up-dated the interior of the cottage with new hardwood floors and freshly painted walls. We offer free satellite directv, Wi-Fi and a dvd player with free movies is also provided. Also in the sunroom we have installed a smaller tv with dvd for the youngsters. There is also a large fireplace with a gas log in the livingroom.
